Customer merging, linked job sheets and invoicing improvements

✨ New features

Customers

• Added a new customer merge tool to allow for easier merging of duplicate customer records To access this tool, go to Customers -> List -> Merge customer record (icon)
• Added the "latest check-in" date to the customer list page to allow for easier review of when a customer was last sent the check-in app link

Job sheets

• Added a new job sheet link tool to allow for easier linking of multiple existing job sheets together to allow a single invoice to be generated for multiple job sheets To access this tool, go to Job sheets -> List -> Link job sheet (icon)

Getting started tips

• Added a new "Getting started" tips page to help new users get up and running with the system and easily find important features and functionality To view this page, go to Help & tips -> Getting started

🔧 Improvements

Vehicles

• The vehicle mileage unit (e.g. "mi" or "km") is now displayed where available
• The registration lookup has been improved to better utilise the available space and provide a more refined search experience for users This is currently limited to the used car sales purchase page but will expand to other areas in future releases

Knowledge base

• Added help content for newer features including linking multiple job sheets together and splitting out a single job sheet into multiple job sheets To view this content, go to Help & tips -> Knowledge base

Used car sales (Netherlands only)

• Added export functionality for used car sales to allow for easier reporting of used car sales, profit margins and VAT reporting To export used car sales, go to Used car sales -> Export
• Added BPM value for standard VAT sales as per Dutch regulations This will be displayed as a separate total on the generated invoice

Invoices

• Added a "balance write-off" option for invoice payments to essentially mark an invoice as paid without requiring a payment to be made
• Added translated headers for the "None" export option headers on invoice exporting to Excel to allow for easier understanding of the exported data This does not apply to system specific exports such as Xero, as they are reliant on the names matching the accounting system's requirements

🐞 Fixes

• Various security and performance improvements to the system
• Fixed an issue w/ additional invoice recipient email addresses not being saved properly in certain cases
• Fixed an issue w/ email addresses potentially containing inadvertent anomalous characters causing emails to fail to send in certain cases
